As frightening as this may be, some of my earliest feminist thoughts came from Geena's character in the movie "The Long Kiss Goodnight." A movie filled with flaws, frustrations, etc., I am drawn to her strength. Then again in the movie "Angie," I fell in love. Geena is a force to be worked with!

"the ratio of men:women on screen is 1:3 (apparently up from 1:5 twenty years ago)"

Do you mean the reverse, the ratio of women to men?
