Welcome to The Feminist Review, where we call patriarchy as we see it. The site contains reviews of books, movies, articles, and other media and messages in our culture.
The site is an opportunity for friends and feminists to share ideas and experiences. We hope to add a specifically feminist framing to the incredible variety of reviews found online.
Of course, patriarchy cannot be addressed without also raising the incredibly important issues of racism, homophobia, classism, violence and other dimensions of oppression. Feminism does remain our first priority, hoping to offer more depth by this specific focus.
